TWENTY EIGHTH AMENDMENT
SECTION 1: The twelfth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

SECTION 2: From this day forth the electors of the Electoral College shall no longer elect the vote for the president of the United States into office. Each registered voter of the 50 States of the United States of America shall cast their ballot and vote for a candidate for President of the United States and also for Vice-President. Each individual vote from each state shall be counted by the department of State in each of the States and then report to the Secretary of State of the United States, who will count the total State votes. Depending on the result of the popular vote of the election, the candidate with the most votes shall be elected President of the United States.
